Our spiritual health services are designed to meet residents’ needs for meaning, connection, harmony, and inner peace in this season of life. Studies have shown that spiritual health can help to lower stress and increase coping capabilities, as well as slow the progression of cognitive impairment with aging. It may even be associated with a slower progression of Alzheimer’s Disease. In addition, spiritual health can foster increased social participation and a sense of belonging.
We honor and respect diverse spiritual needs, and are blessed to continue to welcome residents and staff from a multitude of religious traditions. This diversity enhances our care for all people as well as providing new opportunities for both learning and sharing about faith traditions.
Our faith-based offerings include a Catholic service led by dedicated volunteers from St. Stephen's Church in Anoka, providing a full service for our Catholic residents. All are welcome to join in this spiritual experience. The Life Enrichment Director also facilitates a non-denominational Bible study once a week, as well as a devotional session in memory care for both Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. These gatherings provide a space for reflection and connection with others in our community.
Faith Foundations is a vital part of who we are as a community. If you would like to find out more about our spiritual health programs, please visit Amira Choice Champlin to learn more, or call 763.712.0118 to talk with our Outreach & Sales Director to schedule a tour.
Amira Choice Champlin is operated by Ebenezer Senior Living. For more than 100 years, Ebenezer has led the way in developing programs designed to support older adults in living their best lives. Over the years, these programs, known as Cornerstones, have become part of each community Ebenezer serves.
